Karpathos Diving Center

Whether you are looking to explore shallow reefs teeming with life or want to descend along steep walls and into deep blue environments, the island provides a versatile playground. The local seascape is characterised by a mix of rocky outcrops, swim-throughs, and sudden drops that plunge into the deep.

Established in 2018, Karpathos Diving Center has grown into a PADI 5 Star dive centre. The team is driven by a dedication to providing authentic diving experiences in the local waters.

The centre manages a comprehensive range of PADI training programmes. This includes everything from initial entries like Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Diver through to advanced certifications such as Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster.

A full suite of PADI courses is available at the centre. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Scuba Diver course, progressing through to the Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

For those looking to professionalise their skills or move into technical diving, the centre offers Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and Emergency First Response training. The facility is equipped to support divers moving through the entire PADI progression.

The centre maintains a modern fleet of equipment and compressors, ensuring that all kit is well-maintained and meets high standards of service. Full equipment hire is available on-site for those not travelling with their own rig.

For divers looking to extend their bottom time or dive deeper, Nitrox and Trimix are available. The centre is equipped to support these requirements, making it a viable base for both recreational and technical diving.

The marine life in Karpathos is diverse, with the local reefs providing a rich habitat for a variety of species. You can expect to encounter various fish species amongst the rocky structures and reef tops.
