Located in Mastichari on the island of Kos, Silent Explorers serves as a dedicated hub for divers looking to explore the Aegean. As an SSI Dive Resort, the centre is positioned to support a wide spectrum of underwater exploration, from initial certifications to advanced technical diving.

The centre operates year-round, providing a consistent base for those wanting to dive the local reefs and wrecks. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day of reef exploration or are planning a technical dive using rebreathers, the facilities are organised to handle both recreational and specialised requirements.

The team at Silent Explorers is composed of experienced instructors capable of guiding divers through a variety of environments. They provide instruction in English, French, and German, ensuring clear communication for international divers.

The centre focuses on personalised service, maintaining a professional approach to both training and guided excursions. This includes specialised support for technical divers and those interested in underwater photography or the use of Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPVs).

The training programme is built around the SSI curriculum, covering every stage of a diver's progression. Beginners can start with Try Scuba or work towards their Open Water Diver certification.

For experienced divers, the centre offers a variety of specialty courses, including Nitrox, Wreck Diving, and Scuba Skills Upgrade. The technical side of the centre is well-developed, offering training in Technical Dive, CCR Dive, and advanced skills required for deeper or more complex environments.

The centre operates two main vessels for dive trips. The SAXDOR GTO400 is a 12m boat powered by twin 350hp engines, providing a stable platform for excursions. The second vessel is a 10m semi-rigid boat, suitable for various dive profiles and group sizes.

On board, divers are provided with water, soft drinks, and light snacks. The boats are equipped with life jackets and can accommodate up to 10 people per trip. Nitrox is available for use during your dives.

Silent Explorers provides full equipment hire for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. The centre stocks high-quality brands, including Apeks, SEAC, and Tecline, covering regulators, wetsuits, and fins.

For those looking to expand their underwater capabilities, the centre offers specialised kit such as DPV scooters, full-face masks, and rebreathers. They also provide equipment for underwater photography and aerial drone use.

The waters around Kos are home to a variety of colourful fish and the occasional dolphin. You can expect to encounter these pelagics while exploring the various reefs and wrecks in the area.
