You are in Kardamaina, Greece, rather than in a remote resort zone dressed up as a village. Kardamena Beach is a five-minute walk away, and the main beach is about four minutes from the apartment. The square is two minutes away, putting travel agencies, coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants and supermarkets within an easy stroll.

The little port of Kardamena is about five minutes on foot. Boats leave from there for Nisyros, the volcanic island roughly an hour away, giving you a straightforward day out when you want a change from the shoreline. Antimachia Castle is around 1.6 miles away, Aquatica Water Park about 2.4 miles, and Kos International Airport roughly 5 miles by road.

The apartment layout does useful work for a diving trip. You have a separate bedroom for proper shut-eye and a living room where you can leave the day’s clothes, sit at the dining table or spread out the inevitable collection of chargers, masks and sun cream without turning the bed into a workbench. The Apartment with Balcony is the natural choice for a couple who want room to live rather than just sleep, and it also suits a small group using the available sleeping arrangement.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stovetop, kitchenware and electric kettle, while the washing machine makes longer stays easier to manage. Air conditioning covers the apartment from the bedroom, with ceiling fans in both rooms for moving the air when you prefer it. You also have a wardrobe, clothes rack, iron, hairdryer, private shower room, flat-screen TV and a balcony; one of the two balconies has outdoor seating for two.

This is an apartment rather than a full-service hotel with a dining room. An airport shuttle and a wider shuttle service are available for an additional charge, and you can arrange the airport transfer with the property. Express check-in and check-out are available, with check-in from 15:00 to midnight and check-out from 05:00 to 11:00. You need to let the property know your arrival time in advance, particularly if your flight lands late.
