Sea Spirit Diving Resort

Located in Giardini-Naxos, Sea Spirit Diving Resort serves as a gateway to the Ionian Sea and the protected waters of the Isola Bella Marine Park. Established in 2015, the centre is positioned to provide access to the diverse underwater topography of the Sicilian coast, ranging from rocky reefs to sheltered caves.

The resort operates with a PADI 5 Star CDC affiliation, meaning it is equipped to handle everything from initial student certifications to advanced professional training. Whether you are looking for a short holiday of several dives or a structured week of training, the centre provides the infrastructure to support both.

The team at Sea Spirit is composed of qualified professionals capable of conducting training in English, French, German, and Italian. This multilingual approach ensures that technical instruction and safety briefings are clearly understood by an international diver base.

As a Divemaster and Instructor Training Centre, the staff is experienced in guiding divers through various skill levels. Their focus remains on professional standards and a personalised approach to each diver's needs, whether you are a novice or a professional candidate.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Bubblemaker programme, moving through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers PADI Specialty courses including Deep Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV). Professional divers can pursue a career through the Divemaster, IDC, and Specialty Instructor programmes, with the centre also capable of training Staff Instructors.

The centre operates two main vessels for dive trips. There is a 12-metre boat used for larger groups and more spacious excursions, providing a stable platform for diving.

For smaller groups or specific access requirements, an 8-metre RIB (rigid inflatable boat) is also available. Both vessels are equipped to handle local dives within the marine park and surrounding areas.

Onshore, the centre is well-equipped for both training and recreational diving. A dedicated classroom is available for theoretical instruction, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool is on-site to facilitate buoyancy practice and skill development.

Full equipment hire is available for those not travelling with their own kit. Nitrox is available on-site, allowing divers to extend their bottom times on repetitive dives.
