Dive Vision Malta Ltd

Situated on the north-western coast of Malta at Marfa Bay, Dive Vision Malta offers a strategic base for exploring the Mediterranean's most significant underwater features. The centre's location allows for seamless transitions between shore dives in the Cirkewwa Marine Park and boat trips to the deeper wrecks and caves of Comino and Gozo.

Operating from the basement of the Riviera Spa Hotel, the centre provides a convenient hub for those staying in the area. A complimentary shuttle service is available from the nearby village of Mellieha, ensuring easy access even if you are not staying on-site.

The centre is managed by Valerija and Gorden, leading a multilingual team of experienced instructors capable of teaching in English, German, and French. This diversity ensures clear communication during both technical briefings and recreational training.

Instruction is conducted in small groups, with a maximum of four students per instructor. For younger divers, the centre maintains a ratio of one child per instructor for those aged 8 to 10, ensuring a safe and controlled learning environment.

Dive Vision Malta offers a comprehensive range of SSI and PADI training, beginning with Try Scuba, Basic Diver, and Scuba Diver for those new to the water. For those looking to progress their qualifications, the centre provides Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses.

Specialised training is also available to refine specific skills, including Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diving, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Recreational Sidemount. For those interested in technical or niche disciplines, the centre offers Scooter / DPV Specialty and Underwater Photography courses.

The centre's boat departs directly from the site at Marfa Bay, providing immediate access to the surrounding dive sites. This proximity is particularly advantageous for those looking to maximise their time in the water rather than on transit.

The facility is fully equipped for rental, providing a complete range of kit for divers who prefer not to travel with their own equipment. Secure storage is also available for clients to keep their personal gear safe.

For those looking to extend their bottom time, a Nitrox filling system is available on-site. The centre also provides INT adapters for divers using DIN cylinders.

The marine life around the Maltese islands is diverse, with schools of fish frequently moving through the water column. You may encounter large schools of bream around the wrecks, alongside Damselfish (Pomacentridae) and Salema porgy (Sarpa salpa) patrolling the reefs.

In the open water and around the larger structures, look out for Amberjack (Seriola) and Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda). Sardine (Sardina pilchardus) schools are also common, adding movement and life to the deeper dives.

The rocky habitats and caves are home to various smaller species, providing a rich environment for those who enjoy observing the details of the Mediterranean ecosystem.

The centre operates year-round, though it closes for a winter break between 05.01.2026 and 15.03.2026. Divers should note that boat dives require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation to avoid additional charges.
