The centre focuses on delivering a professional, small-group experience that allows you to focus entirely on the marine life and your buoyancy.

The team at Cayman Turtle Divers is built around a commitment to small group sizes, ensuring that no more than six divers are assigned to a single guide. This ratio allows for a more attentive level of supervision and a more relaxed pace during your dives. The staff includes a resident marine biologist who is available to share insights into the local species and their behaviours.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they provide a full spectrum of professional instruction. From those taking their first steps with Discover Scuba Diving to those pursuing Divemaster certifications, the instruction is tailored to your specific level of experience. The service extends beyond the water with a full concierge approach, where staff assist with the assembly, washing, and packing of your kit.

The centre offers a complete range of PADI training programmes. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or work towards their PADI Open Water Diver certification. For those looking to expand their skills, the curriculum includes PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster courses.

Specialty certifications are also available, including the Enriched Air Nitrox course, which is highly recommended for the local diving. They also provide Emergency First Response training and Refresher courses for those returning to the water after a break. For more casual excursions, such as the Stingray City or snorkel charters, the centre operates a larger vessel with a capacity for up to 16 people. All boats are equipped with shade, dry storage, an audio system, and iced water for comfort on board.

The centre provides a comprehensive rental service for divers who do not wish to bring their own kit. This includes wetsuits, masks, fins, weights, and computers, as well as BCDs and regulator and gauge consoles. For those who prefer to use their own equipment, the staff provides a concierge service to help with the setup and maintenance of your gear.

Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom time. The shore-based facilities are designed for convenience, ensuring that your equipment is ready for the boat and properly cared for after your dives.

The reefs and walls are home to a vast array of pelagics and reef residents. You will frequently encounter hawksbill turtles, green sea turtles, and southern stingrays. Larger species such as spotted eagle rays, barracuda, and various sharks are also part of the local ecosystem, often appearing as you move along the wall.

In the shallower reef areas, the environment is teeming with life, including angelfish, moray eels, and octopus. Tarpon are often found near the coral formations, particularly in the southern reefs where the habitat is more complex. You may also spot green moray eels resident in the crevices.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants are abundant for those who look closely. The coral fingers and labyrinths of the southern reefs provide shelter for many creatures, including various tropical fish and smaller crustaceans. The presence of a resident marine biologist ensures that you can learn more about these smaller inhabitants during your excursions.

Diving in Grand Cayman is possible almost year-round. The island's geography offers a level of protection; if the swell or conditions are too rough on one side of the island, the waters on the opposite side are typically calm and suitable for diving.

While the reefs are generally accessible, the southern reefs can sometimes be more challenging to reach depending on the prevailing conditions. The visibility is generally excellent, often exceeding 30 metres.
