The centre is affiliated with both PADI and SSI, providing a broad range of certification pathways. Their approach is heavily focused on marine conservation, offering specialised programmes such as the Invasive Lionfish Hunter course and various marine ecology certifications to help divers understand the environment they explore.

Beyond standard scuba training, the team provides specialised ecological instruction, covering everything from shark ecology to nudibranch and sea turtle studies. This expertise is reflected in their guided trips, which aim to connect divers with the specific biological nuances of the Cayman reefs.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering all levels from the initial Try Scuba Diving sessions through to Open Water Diver and Advanced Diver certifications. For those looking to refine their skills, the centre offers Perfect Buoyancy, Deep Diver, and Boat Diver courses.

The primary vessel for excursions is the 46-foot Newton Dive Boat, which has a maximum capacity of 14 divers. This boat is used for a variety of trips, including two-tank morning or afternoon outings, as well as dedicated night dives.

For those looking for more private options, the Newton Dive Boat is available for full-day charters, which can include three-tank trips to sites like the Kittiwake wreck. Smaller, more intimate trips are also available via the TopCat boat, which carries a maximum of 8 people and operates from the East End.

The centre offers a full valet dive service, which includes scuba gear storage, rinsing, and set-up to streamline your time on the boat. For divers needing to hire equipment, a complete head-to-toe package is available, covering BCD, regulator, mask, fins, snorkel, and a wetsuit.

Specific kit hire includes Scubapro regulators with an air gauge and Aladin One computer, Scubapro jacket BCDs, and Scubapro Full-Foot Go Fins. For night diving, 8000-lumen dive lights with four colour modes are available for rent.

The walls and reefs are home to a diverse array of large pelagics and reef residents. You can regularly observe Caribbean reef sharks, Hawksbill turtles, and Loggerhead turtles cruising the depths. Large groupers, including Nassau Groupers, Black Groupers, Tiger Groupers, and the elusive Goliath Grouper, are often found near the reef structures, alongside Bar Jack and various species of snapper.

In the shallower reef areas, the biodiversity is immense. Look for schools of Bermuda Chubb, Yellowtail Snapper, and French and Bluestriped Grunts. You may also encounter Tarpon, Eagle Rays, and various species of Parrotfish, such as the Rainbow Parrotfish and Midnight Parrotfish, navigating the coral gardens.

For those interested in macro life, the crevices and sandy patches hold many smaller treasures. Keep an eye out for Slipper Lobster, Channel Clinging Crabs, and Lettuce Sea Slugs. The reef is also draped in intricate fixed life, including massive Giant Barrel Sponges, Elkhorn corals, Lace corals, and various sea plumes and fans.

Seasonality plays a role in what you might see; the silversides congregate in the canyons during the summer months, while the fall season brings the spectacular Star Coral spawning events.

The dive sites vary significantly in character, from the shallow, protected lagoons of Frank Sound to the more exposed walls of the East End. While many sites like Elmo's Wall offer calm havens, others are subject to the prevailing winds and currents of the open ocean.

Divers are required to use a dive computer on all trips. For those undertaking two or more dives per day, the use of Nitrox is highly recommended, and it is a requirement for anyone performing four or more dives in a single day.
