Located at North West Point Road in West Bay, Indepth Watersports Ltd has been a fixture of the Grand Cayman diving scene since 2010. The centre is positioned to take advantage of the island's famous wall dives and clear waters, offering a professional base for both local residents and visiting divers.

Whether you are looking for a relaxed day on the reef or a demanding technical expedition, the centre is structured to handle diverse requirements. They provide a bridge between standard recreational diving and the more rigorous demands of technical diving, ensuring that every diver has access to the appropriate gases and expertise.

The team is composed of nine highly qualified instructors with a combined experience exceeding 30 years. This depth of knowledge is particularly evident in their technical programmes, where they support divers through complex transitions and advanced gas planning.

They operate with a focus on small groups and high levels of service. While the primary language of instruction is English, the centre is well-equipped to manage a wide variety of diver needs, from families to seasoned technical explorers.

The training programme is extensive, covering multiple certifying bodies including PADI, SSI, SDI, IANTD, RAID, and TDI. For those starting their journey, they offer the Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Rescue Diver courses, as well as Open Water Referral Dives.

For the technical community, the centre provides a sophisticated curriculum. This includes Nitrox and Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedure, as well as a full suite of Trimix training such as Advanced Recreational Trimix, Normoxic Trimix, and CCR Expedition Trimix. They also offer specialised CCR training, including unit-specific courses and crossover training between different rebreather models.

The centre operates two distinct vessels to suit different diving styles. El Puma, a 40-foot Aventura power catamaran, offers a stable platform for larger groups, with a capacity for 12 divers at a standard level and up to 18 maximum. This boat is well-equipped for comfort, featuring shaded areas, comfortable seating, and a freshwater shower on board.

For smaller groups or different requirements, the 26-foot TwinVee Ocean Cat, named El Gato, provides an alternative. Both vessels are prepared for daily excursions, night dives, and private charters, with Nitrox available for use on board.

The shore-based facilities in West Bay are designed to support both recreational and technical divers. For those requiring kit, a full range of equipment is available for hire, including regulators, BCDs, masks, fins, and wetsuits.

Technical divers will find the necessary support for advanced profiles, with Nitrox 32% and CCR-specific requirements catered for. The centre also provides essential safety equipment on-site, including oxygen and first aid kits, alongside freshwater showers and toilet facilities for rinsing and changing.
