Natiyabel

Natiyabel has been operating in Martinique since 2004, rooted in the philosophy that 'nature is beautiful.' Based in Sainte-Anne, the centre serves as a gateway to the island's most diverse marine environments, from the calm, shallow reef flats of the southwest to the more exposed Atlantic sites.

The centre is deeply committed to marine conservation, utilising ecological moorings to protect the seabed and participating in coral restoration projects. This eco-responsible approach extends to their daily operations, ensuring that the local ecosystems remain healthy for future generations of divers.

The team is composed of multilingual instructors capable of guiding you through various certifications and exploration dives. They maintain a strict ratio of a maximum of 8 divers per guide, ensuring safe and attentive supervision during every outing.

Training is highly adaptable, catering to a wide range of needs from children's introductory sessions to advanced technical skills. Whether you are looking to complete a formal FFESSM/ANMP course or an SSI specialty, the instructors focus on precision and safety within the water.

Natiyabel is a multi-agency centre, offering a comprehensive curriculum through PADI, SSI, CMAS, and FFESSM/ANMP. You can begin with introductory programmes like Scuba Diver or Discover Scuba Caraïbes, or work towards full certifications such as Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those following the French federation route, the centre provides Niveau 1, 2, and 3 training, as well as specialized certifications like RIFAP. Advanced divers can further their skills with specialties including Deep Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Underwater Navigator, and even Diver Stress & Rescue.

The centre also offers niche training such as underwater scooter (DPV) handling and buoyancy perfection (Perfectionnement Stabilisation) to refine your trim and control.

The dive boat is easily accessible from one of the most beautiful beaches in Sainte-Anne and is well-organised for efficient departures. Most dive sites are located within a 3 to 10-minute boat ride, allowing for maximum time in the water.

For those looking to explore further, the Rocher du Diamant requires a longer transit of approximately 25 to 30 minutes. The boat is equipped to handle various trip types, including night dives and Atlantic excursions.

The centre is well-equipped with new gear, including a full range of rental kit such as BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, fins, and masks. For those needing more specific equipment, dive computers and cameras are also available for hire.

On-site facilities include secure personal lockers for your belongings, as well as showers and toilets for use after your dives. After rinsing your gear, you can relax in the club area with a light snack while reviewing local marine life documentation.

The reef flats and lagoon areas are teeming with life, where you will find various species of coral, sea fans, sponges, and sea anemones. Southern stingrays are also part of the regular marine inhabitants in these waters.

For those interested in macro life and smaller inhabitants, the reefs host a variety of interesting creatures. You can observe different species of coral and sponges that form the backbone of the local ecosystem.

During the months of August and September, the centre conducts night dives, which offer a completely different perspective on the nocturnal inhabitants of the reef. This is a prime time to see species that remain hidden during the day.

The diving environment in Sainte-Anne is generally characterised by warm water and calm seas within the lagoon and reef areas. These conditions make the southwest sites particularly suitable for various levels of experience.

When venturing into the Atlantic, conditions can change, and these sites are better suited for experienced divers. The centre's proximity to both the sheltered lagoon and the open Atlantic allows for a diverse range of diving experiences depending on the day's conditions.
