For meals away from the resort, Vijayamani is around 3 miles away by road and La Terasse around 4 miles. The Pondicherry Museum is about 5 miles away, so a visit into town can be added without turning the whole day into a road trip.

This is not a menu built around vague international comfort food. You can sit down to Indian dishes with a clear regional identity, then save the seafood for another meal.

There is one bar, Bay 146, with cocktails. A coffee house is also available on site, and room service is available when the sensible decision is to eat privately and stop moving. Special-diet menus can be requested, while themed dinner nights, live music and happy hour are available as additional evening options.

The outdoor swimming pool is the obvious place to reset without committing to another excursion. At the beach, sun loungers and parasols let you settle in properly, while the gardens, terrace, sun terrace and outdoor furniture give you alternatives when you want shade, a book or simply a chair that does not involve getting wet again.
