White sand and shallow lagoon water are close enough to make a pre-breakfast snorkel entirely plausible, provided your fins are where you left them.

The setting also gives you a useful spread of places to explore without putting you in the middle of a busy resort strip. Mahebourg Museum and Mahebourg Waterfront are each around 3 km away, and the Nature Reserve is about 3 km from the hotel. The airport is about 1 km away, which keeps arrival and departure pleasantly uncomplicated.

The heated outdoor pool stays at a minimum of 28°C, so you can keep the day aquatic without putting your wetsuit back on. Blue Bay Marine Park is the natural focus for time in the lagoon, while Mahebourg Museum and the waterfront provide nearby alternatives when you have had enough salt for one day.

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport is about 1 km away. An airport shuttle is available as a paid service and can be arranged with the hotel; following the signs for Blue Bay from the airport is the straightforward road approach. Free private parking is available on site without a reservation, and car hire is offered if you want to range beyond the lagoon and Mahebourg.
