English and Italian are spoken by the hotel team, so you can deal with the useful things clearly, from arrival arrangements to dinner requests. The atmosphere leans towards polished rather than informal, with a concierge, private check-in and check-out, room service and a 24-hour front desk ready to keep the logistics from taking over your evening.

You also have a proper base for travelling as a couple, with sea-view rooms, a restaurant on site and a bar for the period when a cold drink is more appealing than another plan.

The resort is in Molfetta, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, with the Duomo di Molfetta a two-minute walk away. That puts you in a real town rather than an isolated resort compound: cafés, bars and restaurants are close enough for a short post-dinner wander, while Molfetta railway station is about 1 mile away on foot.

The sea is part of the setting, and the beach is 50 metres from the resort. Prima Cala Beach is about 1.5 miles away by road, with Scoglio D'Inghilterra Beach around 1.8 miles away. Both are practical options when you want salt water without committing to a full day out.

Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport is about 11 miles by road. The resort also sits within reach of Torre S. Giacomo, around 1.5 miles away, while Polignano a Mare, Alberobello and Matera give you more substantial cultural outings when you want to trade the wetsuit for walking shoes.

The room choice is mainly about how much space and sea you want around you. A Double Room or Deluxe Room keeps things simple for two, with a king-size bed, air conditioning and a minibar for the water or drink you want waiting when you come back in. The Deluxe Double Room with Sea View is the obvious pick if looking towards the Adriatic matters as much as the address itself.

For two people who prefer room to spread out, or for a family of up to four, the junior suites give you more breathing space than the compact double rooms. The full Suite is the larger option, useful when you do not want bags, clothes and holiday debris competing for the same corner. Family rooms are available, and children of any age are welcome; a cot can be requested for younger children, while extra beds are not available.

Air conditioning matters when the Italian sun has done its work, and heating is available for cooler nights. Rooms have private bathrooms with a shower or bath, towels, slippers, toiletries and a hairdryer, plus a wardrobe and a flat-screen television. Half-board is available, so you can keep some meals at the resort while leaving room for the restaurants of Molfetta.

Bar Dogana is the single named bar, positioned in the lobby and focused on cocktails, wines and spirits. There is also a snack bar, a coffee house and a minibar in the rooms. Room service is available, including breakfast in the room, and special-diet menus cover vegetarian and gluten-free requests. The table is not trying to be a separate expedition; it is there when you are hungry and would rather sit down than go searching.

The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas, giving you somewhere to settle when the only sensible activity is staying horizontal. The beach is also 50 metres away, with golden sand, loungers and parasols. Between the two, you can choose between a pool day and a proper sea view without having to organise a grand departure.

The Wellness Center offers massages, facial treatments and body treatments. A couples massage is available when both of you have had enough of carrying bags, equipment and life in general. The spa facilities also include a hammam, hot tub and sauna, while the fitness centre gives you somewhere to move if lying on a lounger starts to feel too ambitious in reverse.

For a more active afternoon, the resort offers kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling and boat excursions, with equipment rental available. Bicycle rental, hiking and cultural excursions add options on land, and the resort can arrange visits to Alberobello, Matera and Polignano a Mare. A fitness centre, a pool and a nearby beach: not a bad menu for a day when diving is not on the schedule.

An airport shuttle is available from Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport, either as a private transfer or a shared service, to be arranged with the resort. Car hire is also available. Private parking is nearby, and valet parking is offered; parking arrangements are worth sorting before arrival rather than discovering them while managing luggage and travel fatigue.

The hotel has a lift, accessible upper floors and wheelchair-accessible units. Wi-Fi is free throughout the resort. Concierge service, luggage storage, daily housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services cover the less glamorous parts of travelling, while a safety deposit box is available at reception.
