The atmosphere suits divers who want a proper hotel around their diving rather than a bare base with a bed attached. You have a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a fitness centre, a wellness centre and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel team speaks English and Italian, so you can deal with the practicalities in English from arrival onwards.

You are in Capitana, Italy, in the Marina Di Capitana area, on the coast rather than in central Cagliari. The hotel is on the seafront, with access to its beach on foot in about 50 metres. The beach is described as golden sand, with sun loungers and parasols waiting by the water.

Santa Luria Beach is about 300 metres away, while Spiaggia di Capitana is roughly 1 mile from the hotel. Spiaggia di Sant'Andrea is about 2.5 miles away by road, and Spiaggia Is Mortorius around 1.9 miles. For an evening away from the property, restaurants at Brown and Le Camelie are about 1.6 to 1.7 miles away by road; this is a car-and-taxi sort of outing, not a stroll in flip-flops.

Cagliari-Elmas Airport is 16 miles away, with the hotel description putting the drive at around 40 minutes. The city-side attractions are farther out: Parco Naturale Regionale Molentargius-Saline is about 6 miles away, and Parco di Pitze Serra about 6 miles by road.

The room choice is mainly about how much space you want around the people and bags rather than about hotel theatrics. Couples can keep things simple with a Double or Twin Room, while the Deluxe Double Room gives you a king-size bed and a little more room to spread out. If waking to a sea view matters more than having the largest interior, the sea-view categories put that decision clearly on the table.
