If you like your accommodation to have a story, this one at least has a proper plot and a few ship's maps to prove it.

Two rooftop terraces look over the harbour, while the large courtyard gives you somewhere to sit outside. The setting suits a couple looking for an Otranto base with character, but family rooms are available too. You can also use the hotel for a simple diving holiday: sleep, eat, walk into town and organise the sea day from there, without being marooned in a resort compound.

You stay in Otranto, Italy, at Via Madonna del Passo 68, close to both the historic centre and the tourist harbour. The centre of Otranto is about a 10-minute walk away, putting the old streets, restaurants and evening strolls within practical reach rather than requiring a taxi every time you fancy a look around. Castello di Otranto is roughly 0.2 miles away, and the hotel is also close to the seafront.

Spiaggia degli Scaloni is about 0.6 miles on foot, while Castellana Beach is around 1.2 miles away. For a wider coastal outing, Baia dei Turchi is about 3.6 miles by road and Alimini Beach about 4.6 miles. Brindisi–Salento Airport is around 51 miles away by road, with a driving time of about 1 hour 15 minutes. Otranto railway station is roughly 1 mile away on foot.

The room choice is straightforward. For two, the Classic Double Room gives you a king-size bed; for a small group, the Classic Triple and Classic Quadruple configurations add single beds. The quadruple option is the sensible one when you need separate sleeping arrangements, while the double keeps things simpler for a couple. Family rooms are available, and children of any age are welcome.
