Families are particularly well catered for, with pools, play areas and generous outdoor space, while couples get the useful combination of a private base, an on-site restaurant and the Tuscan landscape around them.

The address is in Venturina Terme, in Italy, surrounded by the countryside of Val di Cornia. The sea is about 1.6 miles away, and the nearest coast is Rimigliano Beach, a sandy beach reached by car or bicycle. By car, the beach is around 1.6 miles away; by bicycle, you can follow the cycle route and paths, although roughly 1 mile of that journey is not covered by a cycle track. Rimigliano lies within the protected Rimigliano Natural Park on the Etruscan Coast.

You are not stranded in the middle of nowhere. Campiglia Marittima railway station is about 2.5 miles away, while Populonia station is roughly 4.4 miles away by road. Piombino is around 7.5 miles away, and Livorno is about an hour by car. Baratti Beach is another coastal option, with San Vincenzo further along the coast. For a change of scenery on land, the area gives you medieval villages such as Populonia, Campiglia and Suvereto, wine roads, cellars, archaeological museums and the Val di Cornia parks.

The thermal baths around Venturina Terme are close enough to make a practical non-diving excursion, while Calidario Terme Etrusche is about 2.5 miles away by road. Couples can therefore keep the schedule loose: beach, village, thermal baths or simply a chair in the garden, with no obligation to turn every surface interval into an expedition.

You should plan to arrive between 17:00 and 21:00 and let the residence know your expected arrival time. Check-out is by 09:30. Private and express check-in and check-out are available, and you can remain on the property until late morning after checking out with a special pass. The reception closes between 12:30 and 14:30, so avoid timing an arrival or request for that window.

Free private parking is available on site without reservation, including an electric-vehicle charging station. Wi-Fi is free in the public areas, including reception, rather than being presented as an apartment-by-apartment promise. The residence can arrange laundry access, and washing machines are available for a charge. Some apartments are reached by stairs, worth bearing in mind if you prefer to keep luggage handling to a minimum.

Pisa International Airport is about 54 miles away by road, with a driving time of roughly one hour and three minutes. Marina di Campo Airport is around 41 miles away by road, although the journey takes about an hour and a half. The residence is reached by car, and the on-site parking makes a hire car the practical choice for beaches, villages, stations and thermal baths.
