The useful part is the amount of choice without needing to turn the stay into a timetable. You can sit outside with views towards Gozo and Comino, take a quieter drink in La Sosta Lobby Bar, or head towards the beach club when you still have some energy left. You are in Mellieħa, on the north coast of Malta, at Triq ir-Ramla in the Marfa area. The resort sits directly by the sea rather than in a town centre, with open countryside around it and views across to Comino and Gozo. The ferry terminal for Gozo and departure points for Comino are a short distance away, making the northern islands straightforward to explore. Armier Bay Beach is about 1 km away, while Little Armier Bay Beach is about 1.5 km away. Ghadira Nature Reserve is around 2 km away, and Malta National Aquarium is about 8 km away. For a change of scenery, Cittadella on Gozo is around 19 km away by road.

Malta International Airport is about 16 miles away by road, with a typical driving time of around 30 minutes. Six pools give you several ways to spend a non-diving day: four outdoor seawater pools, including two family pools, an adult-only pool and a children’s pool, plus two indoor pools. The indoor adult pool sits within the spa area, while the family indoor pool is in a separate zone. The direct sandy beach has sun loungers and parasols, with sea-access platforms along the shoreline. When the sea has done enough for one day, Carisma Spa & Wellness offers an indoor adult pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, sauna, hammam, treatment rooms and a relaxation area. Treatments include massages, facials and beauty care, and there is also a couples massage for a less equipment-focused afternoon together.
