Located in the premier diving destination of Kaş, SubAQUA Diving Centre provides access to some of the most diverse underwater landscapes in the Mediterranean. The region is defined by its clear waters and a unique geological makeup that includes deep canyons, dramatic walls, and a high concentration of historical wrecks.

Whether you are looking to complete your first certification or are a technical diver seeking rebreather support, the centre is positioned to handle various levels of experience. The local topography offers everything from shallow reef flats to significant deep wrecks, making it a versatile location for any diver.

The centre is led by Oray Ercan, a PADI Platinum Course Director, ensuring a high level of expertise for those pursuing professional paths. As a PADI CDC, the facility is equipped to provide advanced training, including the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).

Instruction is geared towards safety and progression, with a strict ratio of two divers per guide. The team supports a full spectrum of divers, from those taking their first Discovery Scuba Diving experience to professional candidates training for Divemaster or Assistant Instructor roles.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the entire PADI progression. Beginners can start with Discovery Scuba Diving, Scuba Diver, or Open Water Diver, while more experienced divers can advance through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster levels.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers PADI specialties including Deep Diver, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Sidemount. Professional training is a core focus, with the PADI IDC and Assistant Instructor programmes available.

Technical and specialty training is also provided, including Nitrox, Digital Underwater Photographer, and EFR (Emergency First Response) courses such as Primary and Secondary Care, Care for Children, and AED training. The centre also caters to the technical community with Rebreather Diver (REC) and Advanced Rebreather training.

The Subaqua VM is a 14.9-metre dive boat powered by a 290 hp Cummins Turbo diesel engine. It is designed to accommodate divers comfortably, featuring a sun deck with mattresses and designated shaded areas for relaxing between dives.

On board, you will find essential amenities including a kitchen, toilets, and changing facilities, along with both hot and cold freshwater showers. The boat is fully equipped to support various dive profiles, including night dives, and carries Nitrox for divers requiring enriched air.

SubAQUA provides a full range of high-quality rental equipment for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes all the necessary components for a complete setup, allowing you to dive without worrying about heavy luggage.

The shore-based facilities include dedicated areas for changing and rinsing equipment. The centre is also set up to support technical divers, offering rebreather support and Nitrox availability.

The marine life around Kaş is diverse, with groupers, moray eels, and damselfish being regular residents of the reefs. You will often find these species sheltering within the crevices of the rocks or amongst the sponges.

The reef structures are decorated with a variety of sponges and colourful marine growth that provide a vibrant backdrop for your dives. These habitats support a healthy ecosystem of various fish species that frequent the walls and canyons.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants can be found throughout the sites, particularly when exploring the more intricate parts of the reefs and wrecks.

The diving area is known for calm sea conditions, which makes for stable boat trips and comfortable diving. The visibility in the region is typically high, often ranging between 20 and 30 metres.

While the area offers a variety of environments from shallow reefs to deep canyons, the primary dive sites are well-suited to the local conditions, allowing for a wide range of dive profiles.
