Located in the heart of the tourism hub on Viti Levu, Whitetip Marine Adventures operates directly from the Port Denarau Marina. With twelve years of experience in Fijian waters, the centre has established itself as a reliable choice for those looking to explore the archipelago.

The centre's excursions focus on the Mamanuca Islands, where you can dive various reef flats and dramatic reef walls. Whether you are looking for your first breath underwater or are an experienced diver seeking new sites, the trips are tailored to match your level of expertise.

The team is composed of five qualified professionals, including SSI instructors. They place a strong emphasis on safety and personalised service, ensuring that every diver is comfortable with the conditions and the site selected for the day.

To maintain a high standard of instruction and guidance, the centre operates with small groups. You will find that the dive sites are adapted to your specific experience level, ensuring a safe and productive environment for both beginners and advanced divers.

Whitetip Marine Adventures offers a range of SSI certification courses. For those new to the sport, they provide the Open Water Diver course, as well as introductory experiences for non-certified divers.

Experienced divers can progress through the Advanced Open Water Diver programme or choose the Scuba Skills Update to refine their buoyancy and handling. The centre provides the necessary structure to help you build confidence and technical proficiency in the water.

The centre operates an 8m aluminium boat powered by a 150hp Yamaha four-stroke engine. The vessel is designed to accommodate a maximum of eight divers per trip, allowing for a more intimate experience on the water.

On board, you will find a permanent sun cover to protect you from the elements. Each dive trip includes light snacks and bottled water to keep you hydrated between dives.

Full equipment hire is available on-site for those not travelling with their own kit. This includes all the essential components needed for a comfortable dive.

For safety, the centre is equipped with an oxygen kit on board and at the base.

The best time to dive in this area is during the morning, as the afternoon can often bring stronger winds and rougher seas. When planning your dives, keep the afternoon weather patterns in mind to ensure the smoothest possible boat ride and surface conditions.
