Garoda Beach is right outside the resort, while Short Beach is about 0.6 miles away and Turtle Bay Beach about 0.7 miles away. Watamu Marine National Park is about 2 miles away, giving you a nearby marine outing for diving or snorkelling. The location is particularly useful when your companion wants a beach day and you want access to the water without spending the afternoon in a vehicle.

For land-based time, Gedi Ruins are about 7 miles away by road, and Mida Creek is another local excursion option. Malindi Airport is about 15 miles away by road, while Vipingo Airport is about 49 miles away. The hotel can arrange an airport shuttle on request, so you can organise the transfer before arrival rather than negotiating it with luggage in hand.

La Terrazza Restaurant faces the pool and looks out over the ocean. Breakfast is a buffet served from 07:30 to 10:00, followed by lunch and dinner service; the evening menu is Mediterranean and à la carte, with dinner running from 19:00 to 22:00. It is the practical morning option when you want food before heading out, and the more scenic evening table when the sea is doing most of the decorating.

View Point Restaurant is available on request for special dinners, romantic meals and celebrations. The resort also has one bar, a snack bar and limited-hours in-room dining. Special-diet menus can be arranged, while wine, champagne, fruit and lobster dinners are available as additional dining choices. There is no all-inclusive formula given here, so you can plan around the restaurants rather than assuming every meal is covered.

Two outdoor pools give you a choice of setting. Garden View Pool is surrounded by tropical gardens and reserved for hotel guests, making it the straightforward place for a swim or a lounger away from the shoreline. Ocean View Pool faces the Indian Ocean and the white sand of Watamu; it is also open to day visitors, so the garden pool is the quieter choice when you want the resort to feel more private.

The beach itself provides the least complicated afternoon plan: loungers, umbrellas and towels, with no timetable required. If you want something more active, the resort can help arrange snorkelling, diving, fishing, boat excursions and kitesurfing.
