Pousada Boulevard

You are in Cabo Frio, Brazil, close to the centre of town and within reach of the beach. Praia do Forte is about 0.8 miles away on foot, roughly a 15-minute walk. That is close enough for a swim or a stroll, though not quite a flip-flop distance if you are carrying half the contents of your dive bag.

Porto Rocha Square is about 0.3 miles away on foot, and Water Square and the Surf Museum are each around 0.7 miles away. São Mateus Fort is about 1.3 miles on foot. For dinner, Hippocampus is only 43 metres away, while Trattoria do Assis is about 250 feet from the pousada and Restaurante Majára do Canal about 350 feet away.

Further beaches give you different options for a non-diving day: Brava Beach is about 1.2 miles away, while Foguete Beach, Pero Beach and Conchas Beach are all around 2 to 3 miles away by road. The Arraial do Cabo bus station is about 8 miles away by road.

The rooms are designed for uncomplicated nights rather than extended indoor living. Air conditioning matters when you return warm, salty and ready to sleep; the minibar gives you somewhere to keep water or a cold drink, and each room has its own bathroom with shower. A wardrobe, linen and towels cover the basics without making a production of them.

For two people, the Junior Suite keeps things compact, while the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony gives you more space and an outdoor area. That balcony is the sensible choice if you like to sit outside with a drink or want a little more room around your bags. The Triple Room and Quadruple Room make better sense for small groups or families, with sleeping arrangements for three or four people respectively.

Praia do Forte is within walking distance for a change of scene, and Cabo Frio’s squares, museum and São Mateus Fort give you a few straightforward outings for a day away from the water. There is enough nearby to fill an afternoon, but no pressure to build an expedition out of it.

Check-in starts from 14:00 and check-out runs until 12:00. There is no age requirement for check-in, and children of any age are welcome. The property accepts cash, while cancellation and prepayment conditions vary according to the accommodation category you choose.

An airport shuttle is available and can be arranged with the pousada, either privately or as a shared service depending on the option offered for your stay.
