Mango Creek Resort is an all-inclusive island base built around water, open-air living and a slower pace. The resort sits in Port Royal harbour, with accommodation that includes over-water cabanas, private entrances and outdoor space in some units. The feel is more laid-back Caribbean retreat than formal hotel routine. The accommodation works best when you choose it around how you want to use the room. The sea-view rooms and bungalows are the obvious choice if looking out over the water matters to you; the over-water cabanas add a patio with a hammock and lounge chair, which is a rather better place to let the day drain away than a chair beside a corridor.

For couples, the smaller double rooms and bungalows keep things straightforward, while the larger rooms, suites and triple options give families or three-person groups more room to spread out. Some rooms combine a double bed with a single bed, useful when sharing does not mean everyone wants to sleep in the same arrangement. Family rooms are available, and children of any age are welcome.
