Dean's Dive Center

Located in Fort Myers in the southwest corner of Florida, Dean's Dive Center has been a staple of the local diving community for over three decades. They operate as a full-service dive shop, catering to everyone from those taking their first breaths underwater to seasoned professionals needing technical support or specialized kit.

The centre serves a wide area including Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Naples, and Lehigh. Beyond local dives, they organise regular excursions to the East Coast and the Florida Keys, making them a practical hub for those looking to explore the more diverse reef systems of the region.

The centre is owned by Brent Argablight, who has been an active part of the southwest Florida diving scene since 1993. This long-term local involvement ensures that the team understands the specific nuances of the regional waters and the best ways to navigate them.

As the only PADI establishment in the immediate area, they provide a structured and recognised training environment. The staff includes qualified technicians on-site, meaning you can have your regulator or BCD serviced without having to travel elsewhere.

Dean's Dive Center offers the full spectrum of PADI training. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver course, which includes all necessary manuals and the use of essential kit. The centre also provides accommodation for those completing their OWD validation dives.

For more experienced divers, the course catalogue is extensive, covering Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster levels. They also provide specialised training in areas such as Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Drift Diver, Drysuit Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. Technical and skill-based specialties are also available, including Navigation, Night Diver, and Full Face Mask training.

The shop is a complete retail and service hub, stocking major brands such as Scubapro, Oceanic, Sherwood, and Mares. For those who prefer to travel light, a full range of rental kit is available, including regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, fins, and masks.

For underwater photographers, the centre also provides underwater camera rentals. On the technical side, they offer air fills and Nitrox services on-site to ensure your cylinders are ready before you head out to the water.
