Letts Dive!!

Located in Gulfport, Letts Dive!! serves as a central hub for divers exploring the waters around Tampa Bay. Originally founded in Canada in 1985 by Captain Joe Letts, the centre has built a reputation for technical expertise and a deeply personal approach to diving.

Whether you are looking to take your first breaths underwater or are a professional seeking instructor development, the centre provides a structured and inclusive environment. Their long history in the industry is reflected in their diverse range of services, from local training to organised international expeditions.

The team consists of seven qualified instructors, ensuring a high level of personal attention during training sessions. They operate with a multicultural approach, making the centre a welcoming space for a diverse range of divers.

Instruction is available in both English and French, which is a significant advantage for international divers passing through the region. The staff's experience covers a vast spectrum, from basic discovery dives to advanced professional certifications.

Beyond instruction, the team provides on-site equipment repair and inspection services. This ensures that your personal kit is maintained to a high standard, or that the rental equipment you use is in peak condition.

The training programme is extensive, catering to all levels of experience through SDI, PADI, and SSI affiliations. Beginners can start with the SDI Scuba Discovery or the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course.

For those looking to progress, the centre offers SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, Rescue Diver, and specialized training such as the SDI Computer Nitrox Diver. Professional divers can pursue the SDI Divemaster Crossover or the SDI Instructor Development Course.
