DiveMaster Key West

Located in Key West, DiveMaster Key West has been a fixture of the local diving community for 25 years. The centre is built around a professional approach to both recreational diving and career development, catering to those looking to explore the Atlantic reefs or enter the industry.

The operation is centred on a diverse fleet of three boats, including their flagship 47-foot catamaran, the M/V Good Times. This allows for a variety of dive profiles, from shallow reef explorations to more advanced wreck dives.

The centre is staffed by a team of 25 instructors, providing a high level of expertise for both novice and professional students. All instruction and guidance are conducted in English.

For those pursuing a career in diving, they offer a structured 8-week Divemaster programme. This course is comprehensive, including accommodation at their dedicated 'Dive House' and assistance with future employment once the qualification is achieved.

DiveMaster Key West offers a full range of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with the Open Water Diver course, while those looking to expand their skills can progress through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Nitrox specialties.

For professional divers, the centre provides the Divemaster course. They also offer SNUBA Guide training and Emergency First Response (EFR) courses.

The flagship of the fleet is the M/V Good Times, a 47-foot catamaran designed for comfort and stability. On board, you will find padded seating, a marine toilet, and a freshwater shower to rinse off after your dives. The vessel is also equipped with a Bluetooth stereo system and a table suitable for buffet-style catering.

The rest of the fleet includes a centre console and a walk-around cabin boat, ensuring the centre can accommodate different group sizes and dive requirements. All vessels feature ample storage for cylinders and personal equipment.

Full equipment hire is available on-site, with reduced rates provided for students enrolled in courses. This allows you to dive with a complete kit without the need to transport your own.

The centre also provides accommodation for students in their 'Dive House', making it a convenient base for those completing extended training programmes.

The surrounding reefs are incredibly biodiverse, supporting over 400 species of fish. You will find a wide variety of reef residents patrolling the coral structures and seagrass beds during your dives.

The seascape is defined by extensive coral formations and healthy reef ecosystems. These habitats provide the necessary structure for the vast array of marine life that characterizes the Florida Keys.
