Heroes Dive Center

Located in the Dunedin, Clearwater, and Palm Harbor area, Heroes Dive Center has been a fixture of the local diving community since 2018. As an SSI Diamond centre, they maintain a high standard of training and operational excellence for all levels of divers.

The centre operates with a strong focus on marine conservation as an official Blue Oceans centre. This commitment to the environment is matched by their logistical reach, as they organise monthly excursions that take you beyond local waters to the springs, the East Coast, the Keys, and the Gulf.

The team consists of 7 instructors, providing a solid foundation for both recreational training and more advanced certifications. All instruction and communication are conducted in English.

Beyond training, the centre functions as a technical hub for the local diving community. They provide essential equipment maintenance services, including regulator servicing, BCD repairs, and visual inspections, as well as hydrostatic testing for cylinders.

Heroes Dive Center offers an extensive curriculum with over 50 SSI certifications available. You can begin your journey with the Open Water Diver course or progress through specialised training such as Deep Diving, Navigation, and Night and Limited Visibility.

For those looking to advance their technical or professional skills, they offer Enriched Air Nitrox and the path to becoming an SSI Instructor. Their training programmes are designed to take a diver from their very first breath underwater to professional level instruction.

The centre is well-equipped for both divers bringing their own kit and those requiring a full rental set. Available for hire are regulators, BCDs, computers, cylinders, and wetsuits in 3mm or 5mm thicknesses.

For those looking to extend their bottom time, Nitrox is available, with different cylinder options including standard Air, Nitrox, and Steel Nitrox. The shop also provides on-site equipment servicing for regulators, BCDs, and computers.
