Space Coast Dive Center

Located in the heart of Palm Bay, Florida, Space Coast Dive Center has been a fixture of the local diving community since 1988. For over 36 years, the centre has operated as both a full-service dive shop and a specialist scuba travel agency, catering to divers ranging from those taking their very first breaths underwater to seasoned explorers seeking remote international destinations.

The centre focuses on building competent, safety-conscious divers through high-quality education and a commitment to marine conservation. Whether you are looking to refine your skills locally or join an expedition to a far-flung atoll, the facility provides the technical support and professional guidance required for a safe and rewarding experience.

The team consists of six professional instructors dedicated to personalised instruction and diver development. This ensures that students receive individual attention, whether they are working through an Open Water Diver course or mastering advanced skills like buoyancy control or navigation.

As an SSI affiliated centre, the training follows rigorous standards, ensuring that every certification is recognised globally. The staff's approach is built on the philosophy that learning should never stop, encouraging divers to progress through various levels of expertise in a safe and inclusive environment.

The training programme is extensive, covering the entire SSI spectrum. Beginners can start with Try Scuba or the Open Water Diver course, which includes boat diving as part of the certification. The centre organises international liveaboard expeditions, such as trips aboard the Turks & Caicos Explorer II. This vessel accommodates 20 guests in air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms, offering up to five dives per day.
