Since 1978, this family-run operation has been a fixture of the Florida Keys diving scene. The resort combines a functional dive shop with comfortable canal-side living, ensuring that your focus remains on the reef rather than logistics.

Whether you are looking for a dedicated wreck dive or a relaxed day on the reef, the proximity to the sanctuary makes this an ideal base. The layout of the resort, featuring a tiki bar and dive shop just outside the guest rooms, is designed for those who want to spend their time in the water or relaxing by the pool.

The resort operates as a family-run business, maintaining a personal approach to diving that has been established for over four decades. They are affiliated with PADI, SSI, and NAUI, providing a wide range of training options for all experience levels.

Instruction covers everything from initial qualifications to professional development. The team provides specialized training in areas such as Nitrox, Deep diving, Wreck diving, and Drift diving, as well as professional paths like Divemaster and Instructor courses.

The centre offers a comprehensive curriculum through PADI, SSI, and NAUI. Beginners can start with Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, while those looking to refine their skills can enrol in specialty training such as Navigation, Perfect Buoyancy, and Ecology courses.

For more experienced divers, the centre provides advanced training including Deep Diver, Wreck, Drift, and Night diving. Professional-level training is also available, covering Divemaster and Instructor certifications, alongside technical skills like Gas Blender training.

The dive shop provides full equipment rental for those not travelling with their own kit. All rentals are available for 24-hour periods, allowing you to keep your gear for the duration of your stay.

Nitrox is available on-site for divers looking to extend their bottom time. For those planning night dives or wreck explorations, the shop can assist with the necessary kit, though divers should note that wreck diving requires a dive computer and gloves, while night dives require at least one dive light and a personal marker light.

The resort offers weekly night dives and specialized trips for wreck and drift diving. Divers participating in drift dives are required to carry a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) and a dive computer. For all dives, the resort maintains a policy that no solo diving is allowed from their boats, and all divers must have been active within the last 24 months or complete a refresher course.
