The Village, Roseau: Wall Diving in Dominica's Atlantic

Dropping into The Village, you immediately feel the embrace of the open Atlantic. The mooring is set on a distinctive wall, already at 9 metres, giving you a sense of the dramatic descent ahead. The topography here is unlike many other Caribbean sites; the wall plunges into deeper waters, creating an imposing facade that teems with life adapted to these energetic conditions.

From the depths, three distinct rocky pinnacles rise, each progressively shallower as you ascend. This unique multi-level structure allows for an engaging dive profile, where you can explore the richer, more varied ecosystems at different depths, maximizing your bottom time. As you traverse the wall and circumnavigate the pinnacles, you'll encounter swirling formations of various species, moving in synchronized patterns.
