The centre is ideally positioned just a few metres from the beach, making it easy to transition from land to sea. For those arriving by ferry from Piombino to Portoferraio, the centre provides discounts on tickets and offers a dedicated minibus service to transport you and your equipment directly to the site.

As an SSI Blue Oceans Center, the operation is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and the 'Plastic Free' initiative. The team is composed of qualified SSI and PADI instructors capable of guiding divers through every stage of their journey. The centre also maintains a strong educational focus, hosting summer camps for divers aged 12 to 18 and providing structured educational programmes for schools. This commitment to the next generation of divers ensures that the local marine environment is understood and respected by all who visit.

The training programme is extensive, covering all major SSI and PADI certifications. Beginners can start with the Try SSI (Baptême du Mare) or progress through Scuba Diver, Junior Open Water Diver, and Open Water Diver courses.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre offers a wide array of specialties including Advanced Adventurer, Deep Diver, Wreck Diving, Navigation, and Night & Limited Visibility. More technical and professional paths are also available, such as Dive Guide SSI, Assistant Instructor, Decompression, and the Science of Diving. The centre's primary vessel is the Super Papero, a 12-metre fibre-glass boat designed to accommodate up to 15 divers. It is well-equipped for extended trips, featuring a sundeck for relaxing between dives, a kitchen, and onboard toilet facilities.

To ensure comfort during your excursions, snacks and beverages are provided on board. The boat is capable of handling various dive profiles, including night dives, and is used to reach the diverse sites along the southern coast of Elba and the nearby islands.

SUB NOW offers a comprehensive rental service for those who do not wish to carry their own kit. You can hire full sets of equipment, including wetsuits, masks, fins, and torches for night diving.

The centre maintains a stock of 45 bi-sortie cylinders, available in both INT and DIN connections, which are regularly tested for safety. For those looking to extend their bottom time, Nitrox is available for recharge on-site. Additionally, the centre provides SCUBAPRO servicing for regulator maintenance, ensuring your life-support equipment is in peak condition.
