Established in 1987, Al Boom Diving has become a cornerstone of the diving community in the United Arab Emirates. They operate from multiple strategic locations, allowing you to choose between the unique controlled environment of the Dubai Mall Aquarium or the open ocean adventures found on the East Coast in Fujairah and the Musandam Peninsula in Oman.

Their presence in both Dubai and Fujairah ensures access to a variety of marine habitats, from indoor aquarium experiences to expansive offshore reefs.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, Al Boom Diving is equipped to handle the full spectrum of diver development. They provide training from the very first steps of the PADI Bubblemaker programme through to the professional levels of Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI).

The team is comprised of a large, dedicated staff of over 80 employees, ensuring a high level of service and professional oversight. This scale allows them to maintain a consistent standard across their different branches, whether you are training in a pool in Jumeirah or heading out on a boat from Fujairah.

The training programme is comprehensive, covering all PADI certification levels. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or the PADI Open Water Lite Diver Course, while those looking to progress can pursue the Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver, and Drift Diver specialties.

For professionals and those seeking advanced skills, the centre offers the Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses, as well as the full Instructor Development Course (IDC). Their facilities include a large equipment warehouse and a dedicated on-site repair workshop, which is a significant advantage for divers needing technical assistance or servicing.

For those looking to extend their bottom time or manage nitrogen loading, Nitrox is available. The centre also prioritises safety by providing Emergency Oxygen services on-site.

The marine life in the region is diverse, with the Musandam Peninsula offering chances to see sea turtles, clownfish, and angelfish amongst the reefs. In the Fujairah area, you can encounter a variety of colourful reef fish and explore the habitats of various species.

Throughout the various reef sites, you will find a steady presence of snapper (Lutjanus), batfish (Platax), and various rays (Batoidea). Trevally and jack (Carangidae) are also frequently observed moving through the water column.
