Bermuda Diving Center

Located in the Jumeirah 3 district of Dubai, Bermuda Diving Center has been operating since 2017. The centre was founded by a group of diving enthusiasts with the aim of providing personalised and accessible underwater experiences for the local and international diving community.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they integrate marine conservation into their ethos by supporting PADI AWARE. This commitment to ocean protection is a core part of their identity, alongside a focus on high-quality instruction and inclusive community building.

The team consists of ten highly qualified instructors and staff members drawn from diverse backgrounds. This breadth of experience ensures that divers of all levels, from those completing their first Bubblemaker session to professional candidates, receive competent guidance.

The centre caters to a large community, having supported over 24,000 certified divers and 69,000 try divers. Their teaching approach is designed to be inclusive, fostering a welcoming environment for divers from all over the world.

The course catalogue is extensive, covering the full spectrum of PADI certifications. Beginners can start with Bubblemaker for children or introductory scuba diving, progressing through to PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver.

For those looking to specialise, the centre offers training in several disciplines, including PADI Deep Diver Specialty, PADI Wreck Diver Specialty, PADI Night Diver Specialty, and PADI Sidemount Specialty. They also provide PADI Underwater Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy courses.

Professional divers can pursue career paths through the PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor (IDC) programmes. For those needing a refresher, the PADI ReActivate course is also available.

The centre provides a complete range of equipment for hire, ensuring you have everything required for your dives. This includes essential kit such as regulators, BCDs, and exposure protection.

For those looking to extend their bottom time, Nitrox is available on-site. The centre also maintains oxygen provider equipment to ensure safety standards are met during all operations.

The local marine life includes various species that frequent the area, such as yellowtail barracudas, snapper (Lutjanus), and various species of batfish (Platax). You may also encounter rays (Batoidea), trevally, and jacks (Carangidae) cruising through the water column.

On the seabed and around the reef structures, you will find oysters and an abundance of juvenile fish inhabiting the smaller crevices and seagrass areas.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants are part of the ecosystem, providing interest for those who enjoy observing the finer details of the underwater world.
