Orca Diving Center

Orca Diving Center is an established PADI operation with a presence in both Dubai and Fujairah. Based in Jumeirah and at the Orca Villa in Fujairah, the centre provides a gateway to the diverse marine environments of the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

The centre is designed to cater to all levels of experience, from those taking their first breaths underwater to professional divers pursuing career advancement. Their operations include trips to key regional sites, including the waters around Fujairah and Oman.

The instructional team brings significant expertise to the water, with instructors boasting over 10 years of collective experience and individual logs exceeding 3,000 dives. This depth of experience ensures that whether you are a novice or a seasoned diver, you are in capable hands.

Training is conducted in small groups to maintain high safety standards and personalised attention, with a maximum of four divers per guide. The team manages a full spectrum of PADI certifications, ensuring a structured and professional approach to every course.

A complete range of PADI courses is available, starting from the PADI Bubblemaker and Seal Team for younger divers, through to the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certifications. For those looking to progress their skills, they offer Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and various specialty training including Nitrox.

The centre also supports professional development, running Divemaster, Instructor Development Courses (IDC), and Assistant Instructor programmes. For those interested in non-scuba disciplines, PADI Freediver and Advanced Freediver courses are also part of the curriculum.

The centre operates two boats alongside a traditional dhow, allowing for various trip styles across the region. These vessels provide access to the top dive spots in Dubai, Fujairah, and Oman.

On board, you will find amenities including snacks, unlimited refreshments, tea, and coffee. For those looking to capture their dives, underwater photography and video services are available, and the boats are equipped with lockers and Wi-Fi to keep you connected.

The centre provides full equipment hire for those not travelling with their own kit. Shore-based facilities are well-equipped to handle divers, featuring clean and airy spaces with dedicated changing rooms and showers.

Safety is a priority, with regular air quality checks performed on all cylinders. The site is also wheelchair accessible and offers free parking for those arriving by car.

The reefs are home to a variety of larger species, including blacktip reef sharks, stingrays, and yellow snappers (Lutjanus). You can also encounter pufferfish, stonefish, and various species of snapper (Lutjanus).

During certain periods, the area becomes a destination for larger pelagics, specifically mola mola fish and sunfish. These seasonal visitors add a significant highlight to the local marine biodiversity.

For those interested in smaller inhabitants, the environment supports a range of juvenile fish, rays (Batoidea), and jack (Carangidae) species, alongside various oysters and batfish (Platax).

Diving activities are subject to change based on weather conditions to ensure safety. The centre operates throughout the week, providing regular access to the local dive sites.
