Based in Mele Bay, Performance Marine brings a high level of technical expertise to the waters of Vanuatu. Originally established in Dubai in 1998 to support the expanding maritime industry there, the operation relocated to Port Vila in 2011.

Unlike standard recreational dive centres, this team operates at the intersection of commercial diving and marine environmentalism. Their work spans from professional wreck salvage and hydrographic surveying to active coral reef rehabilitation projects.

The centre's identity is rooted in its commercial diving credentials, adhering to the AS/NZS 2299.1:2015 standards. This technical background informs their approach to all underwater operations, whether they are performing marine surveys or environmental protection tasks.

Beyond their commercial work, the team provides a maritime emergency response service and is specialised in the installation of cyclone moorings and quay development. This level of technical proficiency ensures a highly disciplined approach to all underwater activities.

The centre offers a 2-day interactive marine safety introductory course designed to build foundational maritime knowledge. Their expertise is primarily focused on professional-grade underwater services rather than recreational certification pathways.

The MV Ocean Rose is a 10-metre alloy catamaran powered by twin 115 hp Yamaha outboard motors. This vessel is capable of carrying up to 20 passengers, providing a stable platform for both professional surveys and diving excursions.

Its robust construction makes it well-suited for the varied maritime conditions found around Port Vila, serving as the primary platform for the centre's salvage and survey operations.
