The wellness side is more substantial than a token yoga mat. The open-air studio offers Vinyasa, Yin and Hatha yoga, alongside meditation and Pilates. In the Harmony Room, you can book massage, sound therapy and holistic treatments. These are the activities that make sense when your legs are pleasantly heavy and your idea of adventure has temporarily narrowed to finding a comfortable chair.

When you want to leave the grounds, the hotel offers walking tours and bike tours, with hiking, cycling, canoeing, horse riding, fishing and snorkelling available as activities. Wildlife observation and cultural excursions are also part of the programme, with trips including Corcovado National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, Isla de Caño, Nauyaca Waterfalls, Uvita Waterfall, El Pavon Waterfall, a coffee tour and a chocolate tour.
