Located on the island of Maui, NeverDry Divers operates as a PADI Scuba Resort, catering to both those looking for their first breaths underwater and experienced divers seeking technical challenges. For those preferring to head offshore, the centre facilitates trips to iconic locations like Molokini and the Cathedrals through established partnerships. They also provide a premium experience for those opting for luxury yacht charters, ensuring that every type of diver can find a suitable way to experience the Hawaiian marine environment.

The team consists of qualified PADI instructors capable of teaching all levels of certification. They maintain a guided ratio of four divers per instructor, ensuring close supervision and a personalised approach to both training and exploration.

Safety and customer service are central to their operation. All PADI courses require the completion of a PADI Medical Release form, and the staff adheres to strict safety protocols, including advice regarding flying after diving and altitude changes on Haleakala.

NeverDry Divers offers a complete PADI curriculum, starting with Discovery Dives for beginners. They provide full certification paths including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster.

Specialised training is also available for those looking to refine their skills or move into technical territory. This includes PADI Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, and Peak Performance Buoyancy courses, as well as training in underwater videography and digital photography. The centre provides full equipment hire for those not travelling with their own kit. For divers using rental gear, the service includes a dive computer, standard-sized cylinders, and BCDs with integrated weight systems.

Nitrox is available for use, and the centre is an authorised reseller of Scuba Jet, allowing you to utilise underwater propulsion scooters to enhance your mobility during dives. All dives include snacks and photos to document your time underwater.

The local waters are home to a variety of large pelagics and reef residents. You can regularly encounter sea turtles, sharks, eagle rays, and ulua patrolling the reefs.

Macro life enthusiasts will find plenty to observe, including octopus and frogfish tucked away in the crevices of the lava formations. The reef environment is active, providing a home for many different species of fish.

Fixed life and reef structure provide the backdrop for these encounters, with the volcanic landscape creating numerous habitats for various marine organisms.

The best time to dive is during the seasonal transition between the summer and winter swells, such as in April. During this period, the swell is minimal, providing more stable conditions for both shore and boat diving.

Offshore conditions can be influenced by gentle offshore currents that cause upwellings. Divers should be aware of the local topography, particularly when planning trips to high-altitude areas like Haleakala or the Hana back road, which should not be scheduled on the same day as diving due to pressure-related safety considerations.
