The team is led by owner Landon Lasseter, who brings over ten years of industry experience, and managing partner John Cassidy, an instructor, captain, and equipment technician with decades of expertise. This combination of operational and technical knowledge ensures that both the vessel and the kit are managed to a high standard.

Instruction is provided by multi-agency certified professionals, covering a wide range of standards including SDI, TDI, RAID, PADI, SSI, and NAUI. This allows divers from various backgrounds to feel at home during training or guided excursions.

The centre offers a comprehensive educational programme ranging from initial certifications to professional level courses. Divers can train for Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver levels, as well as specialized training such as BLS.

For those moving into the technical realm, the centre provides instruction in Technical Diving, Trimix, and CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) courses. They are affiliated with major agencies including SDI, TDI, RAID, PADI, SSI, and NAUI to support these advanced qualifications.

The Sea Hunter is a fast monohull vessel powered by a Caterpillar 3126 Turbo Diesel engine, designed to get you to the dive sites quickly. It has a recreational capacity of 12 divers or 9 technical divers, providing more room than typical local charters.

On board, you will find cushioned seats and premium snacks and beverages, with lunch provided on longer three-tank charters. Safety is a priority, with a DAN O2 kit, AED, first aid kit, EPIRB, and a life raft all carried on deck.

For those requiring equipment, the centre offers full kit hire, including fins, masks, snorkels, and wetsuits. They also provide specialised gas services, with Nitrox and Trimix blending available for technical divers.

Cylinder rentals are available in various sizes and configurations, including AL80, LP85, and HP100 for recreational use. Technical divers can access double AL80 or LP85 sets, as well as decompression cylinder rentals in AL40 sizes with 50% or 100% oxygen.

The local reefs and wrecks are teeming with life, from large pelagics to smaller reef residents. You will frequently encounter Goliath groupers, jacks, snappers, and barracudas patrolling the structures. Schools of yellowtail snapper and grunts are common, alongside sightings of nurse sharks and southern stingrays.

In the more sheltered areas and around the wrecks, you can find various eels, octopuses, and stingrays. The presence of sea turtles and diverse tropical fish, including parrotfish and angelfish, adds to the biodiversity of the sites.

Macro life and smaller inhabitants include sponges, sea fans, and corals that cover the wrecks. Divers may also spot Atlantic spadefish, pompano, chubs, and various species of shrimp and small reef fish amongst the corals.

Diving in this area involves variable currents that can occasionally become quite strong, particularly at deeper wreck sites like the Mercedes I or the Rodeo 25. These conditions require careful planning and appropriate experience levels.

Visibility is generally good, typically ranging between 15 and 30 metres, though it can vary depending on the specific site and local conditions. The proximity to the inlet allows for quick transit, but divers should always be prepared for the dynamic nature of the Atlantic waters.
