Divers Cape is a PADI-affiliated centre situated in the heart of Sagres, Algarve. Positioned at the back of the Sagres marina, the centre serves as a gateway to the protected waters of the Southwest Alentejano and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.

The waters around Sagres are home to a variety of larger species. You may encounter Great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) patrolling the currents, or spot Sea bream (Sparidae) and sea bass moving through the water column. Moray eel (Muraenidae) and Conger eel (Congridae) are frequently found sheltering within the rocky crevices and caves.

Macro life enthusiasts will find plenty to observe among the reef structures. Look out for the Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), Cuttlefish (Sepiidae), and various Nudibranch species. Seahorse (Hippocampus kuda) and Scorpionfish (Scorpaenidae) add to the diversity of smaller organisms found in the habitat.

Crustaceans and other small inhabitants are also common, including Lobster (Homaridae), Crab (Brachyura), and sea urchins. These species are often found tucked away in the reef flat or amongst the rocky outcrops of the natural park.
