The area is defined by its diverse underwater topography, ranging from shallow, calm reef flats to significant vertical walls and historic wrecks. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day at an aquarium site or a deeper excursion to the Bayahibe region, the centre provides organised transport from Punta Cana and Bávaro hotels.

The team operates with a focus on safety and small group dynamics, maintaining a ratio of six divers per guide. This ensures that instruction and dive supervision remain attentive, which is particularly beneficial for those working through their initial certifications.

Macro life and crustaceans are abundant throughout the sites. Divers can find Octopus (Octopus vulgaris), various crabs (Brachyura), lobsters (Homaridae), and spider crabs, alongside anemones and diverse coral formations.

In the seasonal window from January to March, Humpback whales may be present in the region.

The region offers generally calm conditions with low currents on most reef sites, making it a reliable destination throughout the year. Visibility is typically high, ranging between 15 and 25 metres.

While the area is accessible year-round, the hurricane season between June and November—with peak risk in August and October—can impact dive schedules and sea conditions.
