The reefs are home to a vibrant array of tropical fish and colourful soft corals. You will regularly encounter sergeant majors, bar jacks, snapper (Lutjanus), and various other reef fish navigating the coral gardens.

For those interested in larger species, the area is known for nurse sharks and southern stingrays. You may also spot reef sharks (Carcharhinus) or sea turtles (Cheloniidae) patrolling the deeper sections of the wall.

Macro enthusiasts can look for octopus (Octopus vulgaris) tucked into crevices, as well as various crabs (Brachyura) and spider crabs. The sandy patches and reef edges also host garden eels (Gorgasia), combtooth blennies (Blenniidae), and nudibranchs (Chromodoris willani).
