Located in Port-Louis, SeacretDive sits at the heart of the Guadeloupe National Park and the Grand Cul-de-sac marin. This central position allows for easy access to a vast array of underwater landscapes, ranging from shallow, sheltered caves to the dramatic drop-offs of the northern coast.

The centre focuses on a personalised approach to diving, ensuring that whether you are a student or a seasoned diver, the experience is tailored to your level. With over 40 dive sites available, the area offers a significant variety of topography, including coral plateaus, swim-throughs, and deep canyons.

Managed by Sophie and Renaud, SeacretDive operates as a family-run structure with a strong commitment to marine conservation. They are officially recognised as an 'Esprit Parc National de Guadeloupe' and maintain partnerships with Blue Oceans and Ocean Quest to support ecosystem preservation.

The team is highly qualified, holding SSI Diamond status and providing FFESSM training up to Level 4. They are also trained in marine biology and BATHYSMED® wellbeing diving. To ensure a high standard of safety and instruction, the centre maintains a maximum ratio of four divers per guide.

Communication is straightforward for international visitors, as the instructors are fluent in French, English, German, and Spanish. This multilingual capability helps ensure that both technical briefings and marine biology discussions are clearly understood by all.

SeacretDive offers a comprehensive curriculum through both SSI and FFESSM affiliations. Beginners can start with the SSI Open Water Diver course, while those looking to progress can move through Deep Diver, Wreck, and advanced levels up to FFESSM Level 4.

Technical and specialty training is a core part of their programme, including Nitrox, Nitrox Advanced, and underwater scooter courses. For divers interested in the scientific or wellness aspects of the sport, they offer Marine Biology training and the BATHYSMED® wellbeing diving protocol.

Professional development is also available through the SSI Assistant Instructor programme. All SSI training includes access to theoretical coursework via the MySSI app, supplemented by in-centre classroom sessions and practical dives.

The centre provides a full range of rental kit, featuring equipment from Aqualung and Seac that is regularly maintained and updated. This includes everything needed for a complete setup, from regulators to exposure suits.

For those looking to extend their capabilities, Nitrox is available on-site. The centre also supports specialised diving with the availability of underwater scooters.

The marine life at Grande Vigie is diverse, particularly between June and October. You can encounter pelagic species such as barracuda, jacks, and various snapper species, alongside angelfish and grunts. The reef structure itself is draped in vibrant sponges, corals, and gorgonians.

In the shallower areas and caves, the fauna shifts toward more specialised species. You might spot copper lobsters, various shrimps, and small cave-dwelling fish like pisquettes and hachettes. The mineral walls of the caves provide a home for many crustaceans.

Throughout the region, you can regularly see turtles, rays, and moray eels. The reef plateaus are also home to cardinalfish, seabreams, and soldier fish, creating a busy and active underwater environment.

The northern sites, particularly Grande Vigie, are subject to moderate underwater currents and require a low swell for safe access. These sites are best visited between June and October.

For those preferring more sheltered environments, the sites within the Grand Cul-de-sac marin offer more protected conditions, though divers should always be mindful of local conditions as they vary between the open ocean and the reef flats.
