Bubble Dive

Bubble Dive is situated in the tranquil setting of Anses-d'Arlet, a location that offers direct access to the varied underwater landscapes of Martinique. The centre serves as a base for divers looking to explore the local reefs and the unique marine ecosystems found around this part of the island.

The reefs are teeming with a vast array of tropical fish, including various species of angelfish (Pomacanthidae), butterflyfish (Chaetodon), and surgeonfish (Acanthuridae). You will regularly encounter parrotfish, damselfish, and yellow snappers, often moving in large groups alongside schools of bigeye trevally (Caranx) and crevalle jack.

Larger pelagics and mobile species add to the excitement of the dives. Keep an eye out for barracudas, wahoos, Spanish mackerel (Scomberomorus), and striped kingfish. You may also spot Southern stingray (Hypanus americanus), leopard rays, and eagle ray (Aetobatus) patrolling the sandy patches or cruising near the reef structures.

Among the more iconic residents are the various sea turtles, including the Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) and the Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas). These gentle creatures are often found navigating the reef slopes and seagrass areas.

For those interested in the smaller inhabitants, the area hosts a variety of macro life and crustaceans. You can find spiny lobster (Palinuridae), lobster (Homaridae), and various crabs tucked into crevices. Moray eel (Muraenidae), porcupinefish, and triggerfish (Balistidae) are also common sights among the sponges and multicolored corals that form the backbone of the reef habitat.
