The setting suits couples particularly well, especially if you choose a sea-view room or the version with a balcony. The atmosphere is quiet rather than theatrical, with a garden, outdoor furniture and the Adriatic close enough to remain part of the evening. You are in Kaštela, at Šetalište Miljenka i Dobrile 34 in Kaštel Lukšić, rather than in central Split. That distinction matters: the hotel sits on the beachfront, with direct access to Šumica Beach, while Split’s historic centre is around 11 miles away. Diocletian’s Palace and the Peristyle are there for a proper town visit, not for a casual walk before breakfast.

The immediate surroundings are more practical than urban. Palace Beach is about 0.15 miles away on foot, and Ostrog Beach is roughly 0.4 miles away; nearby cafés and bars begin at about 0.3 miles, with restaurants around 0.25 miles away. Trogir is about 7 miles from the hotel, giving you another worthwhile old-town excursion without turning the whole day into an airport transfer.

Split Airport is approximately 3 miles away. The position works well if you want the coast outside your door and the historic sights of Split and Trogir within reach, but it is not the address for stepping straight into Split’s nightlife.

The room choice is mainly about the view and the bed. Garden-view rooms with twin beds keep things straightforward for two friends, while sea-view rooms put the coastline in front of you when you open the curtains. For couples, the superior rooms with an extra-large double bed are the more obvious choice; the balcony version gives you somewhere to sit without taking your post-dive conversation straight into the restaurant.

Every room has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen television, a wardrobe, a desk and a refrigerator. The kettle is useful for the first drink of the day, while the fridge earns its keep when you return warm, tired and in need of cold water. WiFi is free throughout the hotel, and soundproof rooms are available for a better chance of sleeping through the less disciplined movements of the outside world.

These are compact rooms rather than spaces designed for spreading out a week’s worth of luggage. The sea view and balcony categories make the most sense if the room is part of the holiday rather than merely a place to collapse. Štacija Restaurant works with modern interpretations of traditional local cooking, using fresh ingredients prepared to order. That is a useful spread when one person wants a full plate and the other is still negotiating with the early start.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the evening service running from 6pm to 11pm. Dinner takes place on the terrace, which gives you somewhere to eat outdoors rather than treating the coast as a view behind glass. The hotel has two restaurants in its facilities, while Štacija is the one described in detail.

There is also a bar with cocktails. Room service, breakfast in the room, children’s meals and special-diet menus are available, and fruit and wine or champagne can also be arranged. There is no continuous snacking service or late-night dinner detail to plan around, so the terrace restaurant and its evening hours are the main rhythm for eating on site.

The hotel’s strongest non-diving activity is the coast itself. Direct beach access puts swimming and snorkelling close at hand, while the garden and terrace give you a place to sit when you have had enough of the water but are not ready for a formal outing. Outdoor furniture is provided; the Adriatic supplies the rest, with no need for an animator waving a clipboard at you.

Bicycles can be rented on site, and cycling is available locally. The hotel also arranges walking tours, bike tours, cultural tours and excursions. These include boat trips, islands, waterfalls, markets and snorkelling, so a non-diving day can still have a clear plan without becoming a military operation.

Cooking classes and cultural excursions add something more structured for a couple or a small group. Horse riding, hiking and tennis are available away from the property. When all that sounds excessive, the shared lounge and TV area offer the simpler option: sit down, dry off and let the day finish at its own speed.

Split Airport is about 3 miles away, and an airport shuttle is available through the hotel. Free private parking is available on site, with a reservation required. A 24-hour front desk, private check-in and check-out, luggage storage and a tour desk make the practical side fairly manageable, especially if your flight times do not line up neatly with your room.

Check-in starts at 3pm and check-out is by 11am. You need photo identification and a credit card at check-in, and the hotel asks you to give advance notice of your expected arrival time. The minimum age for checking in alone is 18. Cash is accepted for payment.

Children of any age are welcome. Children aged four and over are charged as adults, cots for children up to three can be requested, and extra beds are not available. Pets are not allowed.
