It is a practical choice if your ideal post-dive plan includes a shower, a meal, a cold drink and the option of doing absolutely nothing afterwards.

The hotel’s website is available in English and Turkish. That is useful before arrival, particularly when checking the room and transfer arrangements. Families are welcome, with family rooms, a children’s club and a playground, while couples have sea-view rooms, a spa and a beachfront setting to work with.

The hotel stands on the beachfront in Kérynia, with direct access to the sea and its own private beach area. Diana Beach is about 1.2 miles away by road, while Shayna Beach and Bella Marin Beach are each roughly 2.5 miles away. Acapulco Beach is about 3.6 miles by road, and Karaoglanoglu Beach about 5 miles away.

You are also within reach of the area’s historic sights. Bellapais Abbey is about 2.5 miles away by road, Girne Castle around 3 miles, and the Icon Museum roughly 3.5 miles. Buffavento Castle is farther out, about 12 miles by road. The setting therefore works for a resort-based stay, but gives you a few proper reasons to leave the sun lounger.

For flights, Ercan Airport is about 20 miles away by road, with Larnaca International Airport around 49 miles away. An airport shuttle is available through the hotel.

The useful part of the room set-up is what happens once the kit bag is dropped and the salt has been rinsed off you. Air conditioning deals with the warm coastal air, while a balcony and sea views give you somewhere to sit without putting on proper clothes. The infinity pool, private beach area, loungers and sun umbrellas give you the classic low-effort options: swim, stretch out, and let the day go quiet. There is also an open-air bath, a hot tub, a sauna, a steam room and a spa relaxation area. Massage treatments range from head, neck, back and foot massage to full-body and couples massage, with body treatments and scrubs also available.

If sitting still feels suspiciously like wasted time, the fitness centre is there, along with table tennis, billiards, bowling and a games room. Water sports are available on site. A casino and live music provide a rather more energetic evening, although you can sensibly choose the spa instead and pretend the chips and the loud music are happening somewhere else.

Families have a children’s club and playground, while the gardens and terrace offer a less programmed place to sit. The mix works particularly well when you are travelling with someone who does not dive: you can spend the day underwater while they have the beach, pool, treatments and entertainment close at hand.

Check-in starts from 15:00 and check-out runs until 12:00, giving you a reasonably civilised departure morning. The front desk operates around the clock, and there is an ATM on site. Free private parking is available without reservation, with valet parking also offered.
