The mood is relaxed rather than theatrical. If you want a change from the shoreline, the nearby landmarks give you a straightforward cultural outing. Bellapais Abbey, Girne Castle, the Icon Museum and Buffavento Castle are all within reach by car, with the hotel’s location putting them on the map without pretending they are next door.
