Situated on the West Coastal Road of Taveuni, this sustainable resort is designed by divers to meet the specific needs of the community. The centre operates out of a dedicated facility that emphasises quality and sustainability. Whether you are staying in one of the on-site Bures or the standard resort rooms, the focus remains on providing a streamlined experience from the moment you arrive at the dock.

The centre is a PADI affiliated facility with a professional approach to instruction and dive operations. They place a strong emphasis on teaching, offering structured programmes for those just starting their journey in the water.

Instruction is conducted in English, and the team focuses on a sustainable approach to diving in the Taveuni region. The resort is built to provide a seamless transition between your accommodation and your dive boat.

The centre is well-equipped to handle training for those new to the water, offering the PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme to introduce you to the underwater world.

As a PADI affiliated centre, they provide the necessary structure and expertise to move divers through their certification journey.

The fleet consists of four custom-built aluminium boats manufactured by Leeda Boats. These vessels are specifically optimised to maintain stability while navigating the currents of the Somosomo Strait.

Each boat has a capacity of up to 12 divers and is equipped with outboard motors. On board, you will find essential amenities including a sunshade, a ladder, a jump platform, and a marine radio. For safety, the boats are fully equipped with life jackets, a first aid kit, and medical oxygen.

The centre provides a comprehensive range of rental kit, including BCDs, regulators, SPGs, octopuses, computers, masks, fins, snorkels, and 3mm wetsuits. The equipment selection features trusted brands such as ScubaPro, TUSA, and Sherwood.

Shore-based safety is a priority, with medical oxygen available on-site. The facility is designed to support efficient dive operations and comfortable transitions between dives.

The marine life in this area is diverse, featuring a variety of reef inhabitants. You can regularly observe clownfish, trumpetfish, and Spanish mackerel navigating the reef.

For those interested in more specialised sightings, the area is home to the Spanish dancer and the blue ribbon eel. You may also encounter banded sea snakes and various species of reef fish.

Larger pelagics and reef residents include the Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) and the Whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus). You might also spot the blue ribbon eel and the Spanish dancer during your dives.

The boats in this fleet have been specifically tested and proven to remain stable while navigating the currents of the Somosomo Strait.
