The address is 215 Shakespeare Road in Takapuna, Auckland, on New Zealand's North Island. Takapuna Beach is about 1.7 miles away on foot, or around 2 miles by road; Milford Beach is roughly 1.3 miles away. The property also has direct access to a white-sand beach, described as a favourite with Auckland locals, so you can choose between a nearby walk and a proper trip to the main beach.

You are north of Auckland's central sights, with the Auckland Harbour Bridge about 4 miles away and the Sky Tower around 6 miles away by road. Takapuna is the main activity here, and it does not require a timetable. You can walk along the beach, head towards the blue water and let the day slow down a little. Q4 Recreation Area is about a three-minute walk away, while Takapuna Rose Gardens is around 1.5 miles away by road for a gentler outing after diving.

If you want something more structured, a golf course is within roughly 2 miles and can be used for an additional charge. The surrounding beaches give you a reason to get outside without committing to another full-day excursion, and Auckland's North Shore makes it easy to mix coastal time with city sightseeing.
