The reefs are home to a diverse array of life, including various species of coral such as staghorn corals, alongside barrel sponges and sea fans (Gorgoniidae). You will often see large groups of fish including snapper (Lutjanus), parrotfish (Calotomus), and various species of angelfish (Pomacanthidae) moving through the reef structure.

Pelagic life and larger species are also present in the area. You may encounter blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus), reef sharks (Carcharhinus), and nurse sharks (Ginglymostoma cirratum), as well as spotted eagle rays and southern stingrays (Hypanus americanus).

In the sandy areas and reef flats, look out for garden eels (Gorgasia), various types of grouper (Epinephelus), and the occasional goliath grouper (Epinephelus itajara). Turtles, including both green turtle and loggerhead turtles, are also part of the local marine population.

Other notable inhabitants include great barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda), jacks (Carangidae), and various rays (Batoidea). The ecosystem is supported by a healthy foundation of reef life, creating a rich environment for all divers to observe.
