Kat's Coffee is about 1.4 miles away, and Holy Family Playground is around 1.7 miles away.

Dangriga Airport is about 23 miles away by road, with a drive of around 38 minutes. Belize City is around 2 hours and 20 minutes away by car, so this is a useful base for the coast rather than a sensible choice if you want to be beside the capital.

The rooms are made for the practical business of switching off. Air conditioning takes care of the heat after a day in salt water, while a fridge gives you somewhere to keep water cold and the microwave and coffee maker deal with the first and last drinks of the day. The decoration uses rustic styling, hand-carved wooden furniture and hand-painted bathroom tiles, giving the accommodation a distinct Belizean feel rather than a generic white-box finish.

For two, a sea-view room or the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View puts the emphasis on the coast and gives you a balcony for the important evening ritual of doing very little. You can also request special-diet menus, while themed dinner nights, happy hour and wine or champagne provide a few ways to make the evening less functional.

The sensible post-dive plan is available in several strengths: sun lounger, beach chair, garden, pool or spa. The outdoor swimming pool has a poolside bar, and there is also a children's pool. Sun umbrellas and pool or beach towels keep the arrangement practical, while a hot tub, Jacuzzi and open-air bath offer alternatives to simply lying flat and defending your patch of shade.

Check-in starts from 04:00 and check-out runs until 11:00. An airport shuttle and a shuttle service are available, and car hire can be arranged at the resort.
