Angel Dive

Located in Nha Trang, Angel Dive has been a fixture of the local diving community since 2006. As the first and only SSI Instructor Training Centre in Vietnam, it serves as a vital hub for divers looking to progress from recreational certifications to professional career paths.

The centre operates daily excursions from Nha Trang, providing access to the diverse reef systems of the region. They also extend their operations to Phu Quoc, offering daily trips to explore the shallower reef environments there between October and February.

The team is led by Frédéric, an SSI Instructor Evaluator with extensive international experience. This high level of expertise is central to the centre's identity, particularly for those undertaking professional training.

The staff is international and multilingual, with instruction and guidance available in English, French, and Vietnamese. This makes the centre a versatile choice for a wide range of international divers.

Safety and personalised attention are core to their operational style. They maintain a strict ratio of a maximum of four divers per guide, ensuring that every diver in a buddy pair or small group receives the necessary supervision and support.

Angel Dive offers a comprehensive catalogue of SSI courses, spanning the entire spectrum of diver progression. Beginners can start with Discover Scuba Diving or work through the Open Water Diver and Open Water Diver PLUS levels.

For those looking to advance their skills, the centre provides Advanced Adventurer, Deep Diving, and various specialty courses including Buoyancy, Drift, Navigation, and Night and Limited Visibility. They also offer specific training for Photo/Video enthusiasts.

The centre is a specialist hub for professional development. They host the full range of professional progression, including Dive Guide, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and the Instructor Training Course (ITC), as well as Specialty Instructor seminars.

Nitrox is available for divers looking to extend their bottom time on recreational or advanced dives. The centre is well-equipped to support both local training and experienced visitor requirements.

For those travelling without their own kit, a range of equipment is available for hire. This allows divers to focus on the experience without the logistical burden of transporting heavy gear.

The reefs around Nha Trang and Phu Quoc are vibrant ecosystems. You will regularly encounter a variety of reef fish, clownfish, and anemones, alongside diverse coral structures that provide a rich habitat for marine life.

Macro enthusiasts will find plenty to explore among the reef flats and corals. The area is known for sightings of Nudibranch (Chromodoris willani), frogfish, and various sea slugs. Small crustaceans and seahorses also inhabit the crevices of the reef.

Diving in the Nha Trang area is accessible year-round, with daily trips departing from the centre. The Phu Quoc reefs are best visited between October and February.
