Nha Trang Diving Club operates across two distinct diving destinations in Vietnam, serving both the established diving hub of Nha Trang and the tropical waters of Phu Quoc. This dual presence allows you to experience the different character of the Vietnamese coastline, from the protected bays of the mainland to the more remote island reefs.

Nha Trang is widely considered the cradle of Vietnamese diving, offering warm waters and sheltered environments that are ideal for building confidence. Meanwhile, Phu Quoc provides a more island-based experience, with reefs that benefit from a tropical setting and diverse marine life.

As an SSI Dive Centre, the club maintains professional standards across all its operations. The team consists of experienced, multilingual instructors who are trained to guide divers through every stage of their progression, from the very first breaths underwater to advanced certification levels.

The centre places a strong emphasis on safety and personalised attention, working with small groups to ensure that every diver receives the necessary guidance. This approach is particularly beneficial for those undertaking their initial training or those looking to refine their skills in more varied conditions.

The training programme is comprehensive, following the SSI curriculum to ensure recognised international standards. Beginners can start with Try Scuba to get a feel for the underwater environment, before progressing to the Open Water Diver course.

For those looking to expand their capabilities, the centre offers the Advanced Open Water Diver course and the Stress & Rescue course. These programmes are designed to build technical proficiency and safety awareness for more varied diving scenarios.

The centre provides full equipment hire for divers who do not wish to carry their own kit. This includes all the essentials required for a comfortable dive, such as regulators, BCDs, and exposure suits.

For those joining excursions, the club manages the logistics of the day, including hotel pick-up and drop-off in central Nha Trang or Phu Quoc. On the water, the service includes snacks, lunch, water, and fruit to keep you hydrated and energised between dives.

The reefs are characterised by a vibrant array of hard and soft corals, including various gorgonians and sea fans. You will frequently encounter a variety of reef fish such as butterflyfish, parrotfish, damselfish, and fusiliers, alongside larger residents like groupers and barracuda.

In the more sheltered areas and sandy patches, look for garden eels, anemones, and various species of sea anemone. You may also spot cuttlefish, trumpetfish, and various species of clownfish inhabiting these habitats.

For those interested in macro life, the area hosts a variety of nudibranchs and pipefish. Smaller residents such as shrimps and various species of sea slugs can also be found amongst the coral structures.

Diving conditions vary by location and season. In Nha Trang, the bay is generally calm and protected, though some sites can experience stronger currents. In Phu Quoc, conditions are typically calm and gentle, making it well-suited for beginners.

Seasonal planning is important for the best experience. For Nha Trang, the dry season runs from April to October, while Phu Quoc is best visited during its dry season from October to May. During the rainy seasons, sheltered sites like Hon Doi Moi or Hon Tam are often used to maintain reliable diving conditions.
